Ooh canal boat painting is fun.

I had to teach myself to do a simplified version of that a few years ago because I was asked to be resident artist on a Girl Guiding canal holiday. Then I had to teach the girls how to do it. We made some nicely painted little things over a weekend.

Hayley, does a variety of different things, she has done some engraving also, cross stitch, dough crafts the latest is canal boat style painting, have some pics on Face book I will see if I can show them somehow.

Edited, Hayley also does many arts and crafts :):)

I finished engraving a bough of magnolia blossoms on one crystal jug and started putting lilies and sweet peas on another.

Only one more jug, a dragon on a tankard and a goblet with a pineapple and I will have caught up with Christmas commissions and have time to make little things for a Craft Fair.
