Your not posh Kitty, just a dreadful gravy maker wmsl.

I am lucky as my sons are good cooks, but not so good with the clearing up. My daughter can't boil water without burning the pan though.

All this talk of food is making me starving hungry.....now where is my oh?

Wow Bev! A teenage son who cooks for you! That's almost unheard of.

Mind you mine did,but we were guinea pigs, he was at catering college at the time and was trying out new recipes on us, and yes we lived to tell the tale LOL

He says he still hasn't mastered roast potatoes though, I set too high a standard lol

spare ribs that hubby has made an marinade for with jacket potatoes and salad.

he was faffing about with a pastry case and an orange so not sure whats for pudding yet

Chips in goose fat??

I know roast potatoes are best done in goose fat, though beef or pork dripping will do (very nicely in fact,) but not chips surely? I'm sure even those oop north woudl say it has to be lard...
