KEEPING YOUR PERSPECTIVE>>>>

In the face of the real tragedy on this site, which has touched us all I have recovered my sense of 'perspective' over the last few days.

In the last few weeks (months) , I have seen many good people leave the boards, due to the atmosphere and 'undercurrents'. I don't know how many of them will return to the boards and that makes me very sad ,as they have all made the boards a better place to be in one way or another.

I have also been lucky enough to find that not only have I made some good and true friends , but also that someone who I mistrusted has had the grace to forgive me.

I had not planned to stay myself, but whoever stays or leaves this site for whatever reason,the boards MUST remain a place where people , 'old and new friends' , can find help and support, intelligent conversation and fun .For ultimately the genuine laughter of others is life-affirming ,even when you cannot laugh yourself.

If you have managed to stay reading this ,lol, thankyou!....I wrote this before I left for Chester but just got back (quite lterally) and catching up ....will be back later and WILL be staying (sorry to anyone who hoped I'd gone for good lol!)
