X Lairy- Fairy Report 5 Nov 2007 21:05

Children who die are not really gone,
But go to a place that is something like home,
Where they sleep the deep sleep, as quiet as stone,
Until we can join them when our lives are done.

Children who die are not really dead,
But just like good children tucked into bed,
Wait the long wait while we go ahead
Till our tales are all told and our tears are all shed.
Children who die feel no pleasure or pain
In the place where they wait till they see us again,
And all of us dance in a world washed with rain
Where the sun shines so brightly no sorrows remain.

God blesses us each with so many things
And sometimes that blessing is a child.
He chooses a special angel, picked just for you
And loans them to you for awhile.

From the time they arrive
They hold your heart in their hands
And add countless precious moments to your life
And each night we bow down and ask the good Lord above
To protect them and keep them from strife.

For this oh so precious gift,
God doesn't ask a large fee.
“Just love and care for them,
and teach them of Me”.
So we do what we can,
We work hard and we pray
And watch them blossom and grow
With each passing day.

Not one of us knows how long they'll be here
Or when God will call for his loan,
And take that special angel, picked just for you
Back to his glorious home.

But he made us a promise and I have no doubt,
He will carry you through this great sorrow.
Because when it's your time, he'll be first to greet you
And you'll be blessed with an eternity of tomorrows.

For Carol

Do believe he'll never leave you:
Always he'll be in your heart.
Don't forget his soul is near you,
And so you'll never be apart.

I Still Miss You

It's been some time, since you've been gone
I thought by now, I would be strong
I think of you, and shed my tears
I wonder who, will still my fears.

Your memories remain, inside my heart
My soul it seems, to be torn apart
You told me secrets, I hold so dear
I only wish, you would be near.

I still miss and love you, can't you see
I wish to hold, and talk with thee
So many things, I could not say
And now you've gone, so far away.

You taught me to, in God believe
You said he would always, take care of me
So take my hand, and guide me there
And save a place, one day to share.

I love you Mom & Dad

Auntie Peanut Report 2 Nov 2007 22:29

If tomorrow starts without me,
And I'm not there to see;
If the sun should rise and find your eyes
All filled with tears for me;
I wish so much you wouldn't cry
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things,
We didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you,
And each time you think of me,
I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me,
Please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name,
And took me by the hand,
And said my place was ready,
In heaven far above,
and that I'd have to leave behind
All those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away,
A tear fell from my eye,
For all my life, I'd always thought,
I didn't want to die,
I had so much to live for,
So much yet to do,
It seemed almost impossible,
That I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays,
The good ones and the bad,
I thought of all the love we shared,
And all the fun we had,
If I could relive yesterday,
Just even for a while,
I'd say good-bye and kiss you
And maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized,
That this could never be,
For emptiness and memories,
Would take the place of me.
And when I thought of worldly things,
I might miss come tomorrow,
I thought of you and when I did,
My heart was filled with sorrow.
But when I walked through heavens gates,
I felt so much at home.

When GOD looked down and smiled at me,
From his golden throne,
He said "This is eternity,
And all I've promised you."
Today for life on earth is past,
But here it starts anew.
I promise no tomorrow,
But today will always last,
And since each day's the same way
There is no longing for the past.

So when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we are apart,
For every time you think of me,
I'm right here, in your heart.

Joy

Joy Report 2 Nov 2007 19:32

They are not dead,
Who leave us this great heritage of remembering joy.

They still live in our hearts,
In the happiness we knew, in the dreams we shared.

They still breathe,
In the lingering fragrance, windblown, from their favourite flowers.

They still smile in the moonlight’s silver
And laugh in the sunlight’s sparking gold.

They still speak in the echoes of words we’ve heard them say again and again.

They still move, In the rhythm of waving grasses, in the dance of the tossing branches.

They are not dead:
Their memory is warm in our hearts, comfort in our sorrow.

They are not apart from us, but part of us.

For love is eternal,
And those we love shall be with us throughout all eternity.

Life Goes On

If I should go before the rest of you
Break not a flower
Nor inscribe a stone
Nor when I am gone
Speak in a Sunday voice
But be the usual selves
That I have known

Weep if you must
Parting is hell
But life goes on
So .... sing as well

Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you wake in the morning hush,
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there, I did not die!

Where You Are

Deep in the stillness
I can hear you speak
You're still an inspiration
Can it be
That you are mine
Forever love
And you are watching over me from up above

Fly me up to where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for a while to know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

Are you gently sleeping
Here inside my dream
And isn't faith believing
All power can't be seen

As my heart holds you
Just one beat away
I cherish all you gave me everyday
'Cause you are mine
Forever love
Watching me from up above

And I believe
That angels breathe
And that love will live on and never leave

Fly me up
To where you are
Beyond the distant star
I wish upon tonight
To see you smile
If only for a while
To know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

I know you're there
A breath away's not far
To where you are

When you wonder the meaning of life and love
Know that I am with you
Close your eyes and feel me kissing you
In the gentle breeze across your cheek
When you begin to doubt that you shall ever see me again
Quiet your mind and hear me
I am in the whisper of the heavens
Speaking of your love
When you lose your identity
When you question who you are and where you are going
Open your heart and see me
I am the twinkle in the stars smiling down upon you
Lighting the path for your journey
When you awaken each morning not remembering your dreams
But feeling content and serene
Know that I was with you
Filling your nights with thoughts of me
When you linger in the remnant pain
Wholeness seeming so unfamiliar
Think of me
Know that I am with you
Touching you through shared tears of a gentle friend
Easing the pain
As the sunrise illuminates the desert sky
In that breathtaking brilliance, awaken your spirit
Think of our time together, all too brief, but ever brilliant
When you were certain of us together
When you were certain of your destiny
Know that God created that moment in time
Just for us
I am with you always.

One of my poems for you CarolB, from your friend.

Quiet New Dawn

Summer nights far off
Left to chill on the
Cold night's air.
Breath fresh -
Closer, closer now
And quietly asleep.

Murmurings in between
Shifting between the depths
Of dawn and a new day.
Slowly, quietly we weep
The scent of Heaven
Just a sigh away.

We are losing you to ghosts
They walk around this place
Calling you with them,
They sleepwalk around you
With the invitation
Of a fresh new dawn.

Tired now and slipping away
You fall into the unconscious
And we let you sleep on,
We wait, watch and hold you
Light - as you slip into
A quiet new dawn.

This is something I have on occasion sent to other people to try and help them. Meybe it will help Carol and others at sometime. Its called "Death is Like Catching a Train. Death is like catching a train,Yes my Darling,It is So. The time of departure one may not know or sense.Resolutely one approaches the Stationmaster,Who is not God,Though good at Quelling Agitation.Death is like catching a train my Darling,It is nothing really,No fall inthe dark, even the Guard will assist you into the Carriage,And he will Uplift his Cap,Its Badge a Cluster of Stars,So you have no time to think,No waiting time to Steel yourself,Do not be Scared the reception is always reassuring,With or without Warning. You seem to know which seat to take and settle back,The other Passengers are not distressed. The train begins to move, and some of the best Occasions of your life go past the windows. The People you revered wave to you In the Elysian Dappled sunlight. The deep held animal friends you have known are near,Of course you will see them gain Those you loved so much, and who love you, And I shall be with you my dearest.Into the Tunnel you go with a Roaring,The Coaches Sway, and Through the the Darkness,All of a Sudden,You come into a New Morning.
