Gwyn's story reminded me of the time when at the age of 3, dad took me to see Snow White, when it first came out in the cinema's in the early 50's. |

My most vivid memory is of my grandad, he used to look after me before I went to school as both mum and dad worked, we used to go the his local for lunch, he used to say play in the garden while I have a game of dominoes, (garden was closed in). |

I can remember at about 10mths while still crawling my dad stepping back and standing on my hand, I remember exactly what the room looked like and what mum & dad were doing before and after the incident. I also remember at the age of about 18mths sitting in our neighbours house on the floor and saying to her fuff fuff (fluff ) and how she got quite annoyed as she had hoovered and getting down on the floor she looked under the chair and saw what I was looking at a little mouse sitting washing his face. I can remember the disappointment when I got lifted away! lol! |

I´ve really enjoyed reading this thread. I believe we are capable of many early memories. e.g. children recognizing music only played to them in the womb, children who describe a relative who died before they were born. (tho´ this is probably another thread!) |

I have a memory of my brother and sister fighting over who was going to push my pram. They up-ended the pram and I fell out into some water. My brother picked me up and cuddled me then kissed my face. My mum was gob-smacked when I told her this. I was only 8 months old when this happened. |

I am amazed at the young ages some of you recall incidents. I had to look at old photos to work out which year I still had my little dog. |

This is so nice to read. It is amazing how you can all remember so far back. Is there any sort of treatment I can get to help me remember what happened to me as a youngster as I have no memories before I met my husband which was 10 yrs ago and even thats a bit blury. Thanks. Lynette xx |

I was born and brought up in Kent and some time ago I said to my mother, "I can remember you and some other ladies making sandwiches and tea and giving them to the soldiers on the train". |
