So glad she's back :o)
They're contrary little blubbers aren't they.
We had a cat that was locked in a holday home for 4 days - the only place she had 'done her business' was by the toilet.
Had another one disappeared last year - had her microchipped and spayed 3 months previously. She just never came home, but has been spotted in very good health living on the allotments!! (just across the road from us) All the allotment holders know her - she's not very friendly - but they 'look out' for her. Just relieved she was spayed!!

Stray Kitten - It is a worry I have taken on cats that cant be rehomed that for various reasons are never picked as they are too old or have medical requirements or are not beautiful to some for almost 20 years. But everytime I loose one or it goes awol my heart stops. These are my children and I love them to bits.

I am not the mad old woman with a house full of cats that smell of pee - I never have more than three and always have them to the very end - all mine are trained evenutually to go in other peoples gardens lol.... But you do need to allow them a certain amount of freedom for them to be happy - they choose to tollerate us not visa versa.

I do love them so much

Thank you all - she was very thirsty but is now being pampered beyond belief.

Has anyone invested in those GPS collars and do they work?

A very thirsty and hungry fluffy ball has just strolled in and said MEEEEWWWWWW!!!!

Thank you everyone for your kind words and thoughts.

I think she has been locked in a shed or a garage for three days as v hungry and thirsty but otherwise ok.

Billy is also pleased she is home and has started to play up and started to be the mischievious bugger we know and love - rather than pining as he has these last few days :)

Maddiecow Report 11 Oct 2007 18:13

Still no news - thank you for your thoughts xxxx. Neighbours have all checked their sheds now - community centre still appears to be closed so I am hoping she is in there.

I have called the identichip people and she is now on the lost register to be flagged up if she is taken to any vet or cats home.

I will be sure to say when I hear anything xx

Any news yet, Maddie?

I have 5 cats (well, three elderly and two trainee tigers) and I know how I feel when they don'tcome home for a couple of days.

No news yet, but no news is good news as they say. She isnt at any of the vets or cats homes and the council have had no dead cats in our area.

Recon shes got stuck chasing a big mouse or maybe sulking a little as we have been away.

I have put some posters up locally and hope to hear something soon. My neighbours have checked sheds and greenhouses - am still waiting for the community centre which we back on to - to open up.

Billy is off his food and and not up to his normal mischief I think he is missing her too x
