Hi Daff, sorry you haven't been well, hope you feel 100% again soon.

I have been busy getting ready to go to Malta, wasn't one of my best ideas booking this holiday so close to the Llanelli one lol but getting there now and should have everything ready for Sunday evening when I go to my son's ready for the off on Monday morning. He lives 5 mins walk from the coach station so if it doesn't rain we can pull our cases there at 9.15 am and start our journey and save a few quid on a taxi. Will take us longer to get to Luton airport ( keep thinking of Lorraine Chase lol) via Stansted than it will to fly to Malta lol

I don't recognise half the names on the boards now and it feels really strange, will be even worse when I get back later this month - I probably won't know anyone.

Just to echo what Viv posted really.

Also Its quieter on here now as some major contributors to the board, those who have been pushed / left the site are not being the target of abuse and torment on the board as they have been in recent times.

When a hoo harr is in process the board seems to come alive with people adding to threads of upset, be it to add their two pennythworth against a person or be it to show their disgust regarding the onslaught.

Sometimes its been known to happen a few times a week, escalating at the weekends

Also with the changing of Grs layout and the arrival of the new chat board, people are now sometimes posting on both, thus watering down content which would only be seen previously.on General.

On a personal level, I look in most days, may add to the odd thread and go away again.

This board has cost me an awful lot of upset for a long time, and especially in recent months.

I do not feel comfortable posting anymore.

Forever afraid that my posts will be taken out of context. Always waiting for a sly remark being made (normally this comes in the form of someone or other mentioning bullies / troublemakers soon after ive posted, of course thinly veiled as usual. but not so veiled that its meaning cant be understood by myself )

But I have learned not to respond now, its not worth it. I will walk away & not reply again to a thread as I did the other day when I saw this happen.

I spend my time on other sites now as many others are, confident that we can post in peace without goading and upset.
