Me and OH have been talking about interests and this is what we discovered.....

We actually have very little in common apart from walking and things like Monty Pyton lol!!

He loves anything si fi and I think most of it is rubbish....reverse that and thats our opinion on soaps...


He says 'how are you interested in researching people you'll never meet' I say 'how can you talk for hours about an electrical cable?'

I love veggie food and fish, he adores beef and says why do I never let it darken my worksurface!!

i control the stereo in my house if he wants to listen to his music he can sit in the car n nod off out there . that way he doubles up as a car alarm
my OH is boring really sleeps thru every programme i want to watch

Yes,

we enjoy the same music, motorbike racing, foods, we both prefer to be home than out partying, same holidays, same tv shows, and loads more. We are best friends :)

Yes Rose I often disagree with myself...just to make it interesting now and then. Lolol

We share many of the same interests, which is just as well because he had to retire early due to illhealth and he is home all the time.
He supports me in things I do even if he isn't that interested himself or doesn't do them. It's great having someone practical who can make me things. He designed gadgets which enable me to draw accurate vertical and horizontal lines on glass when I'm engraving....tricky to make things level on curved surfaces.

He's not so good at walking as he used to be so if I want a long walk I either have to go on my own or with one of my daughters.

We like most of the same programmes though he mutters when I'm watching Heroes. I don't mutter when he has one of his favourite things on!!!

Apart from the fact that he's a bit of a fussy eater so I sometimes cook two different things, I don't think I can complain!

My OH half and I probably share most intersets, Especially a love of food, although not the same types often.
However he doesn't have any interest in dead people and I don't really care much for sport except athletics.
I think we have the right balance, it's good to share interests but also very important to have your own seperate interests too.

me and my OH have our bairns in common, watching films together, going out for walks with our bairns and just spending time together.
