SueinKent

SueinKent Report 20 Sep 2007 22:04

How come manslaughter was put on the death certificate? which I presume was issued before the trial.

Probably added by the coroner Sue

Little Lost Report 20 Sep 2007 22:06

I suppose the coroner was told one version of the story so thats what he put on the cause of death but then when it came to trial the other version came out.
They never said when Sarah actually died.

Gryff was on earlier on Paul o grady. Couldnt hear it as grandson arrived just when he started to talk but he was saying the bbc didnt want to do the same line that he wanted to as they said that line would be boring. I think that gives the game away that their researchers actually do the research first then take them round filming it all.

Yes it did Mau....it was even better for that.

How many of us recognise that feeling....'theres an answer there somewhere and now I have to find it.'?

Must have been a big shock for Griff's mother when she found her grandfather had been killed by manslaughter and not in a supposed rail crash.

I have a choice of which Smith certificate to order. There are several of dates and places that could be mine.

Ah but we KNOW that because we have the experience. This is his first dabble in it and he didn't have any interest before.....at least thats what the programme would have you believe.

Rambling Report 20 Sep 2007 22:20

I missed quite a bit of it, but I like Griff (he reminds me of my brother lol) and at least it did show him actually looking at the census on his laptop which they don't usually do which might get the message across that you can 'do it yourself' without a team of BBC researchers lol

Only last week I found a rellie working at the ironworks in Newport, so was really interested at the history and the footage there.

To be honest, the whole series has been really good this time round so far.
