Well, we went to the hospital today and the consultant confirmed my husband has a tumour but it is benign.

He will need major surgery sometime in the next few weeks to remove it from his bowel and bladder, but it is all fixable!!

I can't even begin to tell you how relieved we are.......we have had a dreadful few weeks.

Thank you for the pm's and good positive thought......they are so welcome.

A very relieved and smiling Kitty :))

Brave soldier??

He was literally shaking from head to foot and almost bolted at one point..............poor love is absolutely hospital phobic.

He hasn't stopped ringing everyone to tell them how brave he was yet! lol

I am so very proud of him.......it took so much courage to ask to see the GP let alone go through all the tests.

He must feel poorly though as he says he can't wait to get the op over and done with.

Kitty you must both be so releived - I am sure he will sail through his op with you beside him.

He is very lucky to have such love support and encouragemet from you.

Great news Kitty. You must have both been anxious trying to prepare for the results.

Now is it trying to find decent pyjamas, slippers, and all the hospital requirements. I remember a friend who had to go in hospital panicking as she always slept in the nude...had no night clothes, dressing gown or slippers.

Is the hospital very far from where you live for visiting? Love from Liz

Oh yes!

Pyjamas.................he sleeps naked too and his slippers have seen better days.

Our grown up daughters will be spoiling him more than ever now.

He should be at the hospital about 30 minutes drive away, if not the other one is anly about a 45 minute drive.

Thank you all for posting, it's a real comfort to know my cyber friends care.

Julia..............tell him another time when he is showered and shaved! lol
