I would do as the others say and either have your own little teaparty for Trinity or just ignore them and make sure you see her with her presents before hand. I am sure Trinity won't hold it against you when she is older that you weren't there. As for your daughter asking for a contribution to the food, that is out of order !

This is not a party for a year old - my daughter had one for each of hers and it was a drinkies and nibbles for the adults.

Was a joke - In my book year olds do not have parties - two year olds - OK - they can play with each other.

Have your own family party for your little one the day before and steal their thunder.

Im ok really just a bit angry and feel cheated.

I get on with them yeh they have come to my house many times were practically living here when cher was still at home.

The problem is his mum dont like people outside the family in her home for some reason i dont understand why.

Ah well i will get the bus up in the morning to give Trinity her presents and see her at least.

Be the grown up and have your party for your grandaughter on Friday and rise above the snub.

Tell your daughter, as it is her daughter and the party is at the in-laws home it is up to them to provide the food.

i will have a party for her on friday at my house that my family can go to.

my daughter had the cheek to tell me then ask ifi would make some food for the party that i aint invited to

had my eldest when i was 18 too :)

I should explain that the party is going to be at her inlaws house so they have the right to say who oes in their home but still not nice not being there with her

Jet im only 36 hun i had my eldest when i was 18 and she had her baby when she was 17 so we started young :o)
