They were so smelly at first today you wouldn't want to cuddle them but once they had been washed & feed they just cuddled up on our laps !!!

Oh bless their little paws!

Just thought I would add an update - been to feed them again today - all growing so well & moving around & opening their eyes!

Next week they are starting solids - make it easier on the feeds but not on the poo!!! :-)))

CF I'll take some more pics in a couple of weeks time when they will look soooo cute. Perhaps OH will change then :-) Penny

Poor poor mummy.... just you make sure her babies grow up nice and strong. We had a pup once whose mum died giving birth, he was with us 15 years and was the best dog EVER. Deanna X

I've managed to put a picture of one of them on next generation.

Hi This is her 2nd litter. can't remember how many were in the 1st batch but they were all chocolate bar one - light brown/latte colour - my friend had that. That was about 3 years ago. They were going to mate the latte one but after the stress & strain of this week , she's going to have THE op :-(

How sad, had she had many litters or was she young? I do hope these little pups make it.

Just got back They are all so diddy & squeaky & have numbers on !! All doing well at the moment though. Found out Mum just couldn't deliver them quick enough & then her heart just gave out :-(

hope the pups make it.It's hard work caring for orphans.dont you know of another bitch with pups who might accept pup or pups as her own for a little while.My friend had 2 chihuahua pups in same circumstances recently but lost smallest one after a week.

Might be worth phoning the local radio station..........get them to put out a request for local foster mum who has recently had a litter to feed the pups.

EB My friend has phoned round local vets & rescue centres for such a bitch but as she's asking me (must be desperate) I presume no. One rescue centre offered to feed them for her as long as she signed them all over - for no payment :-(

I know she had to be rushed to the vet for a c section but will try & find out more details later.
