I have not had one so can't give you any advice Margaret. But I will be thinking of you. i am sure, once there, you will feel OK, it is the thinking about these things that is the worst part. Ann Glos |

i've had one........ nothing to be scared of, honest ! hardest part for me was having my head pinned down ( it was my head they were scanning), and just wanting to move it all the time to get comfortable. it is very loud, but they do talk to you all the time, check you're ok, tell you how long is left, etc if i had to do it again, no problem......... |

Margaret, all I can say is..... in your heart of hearts (having been on the 'other side'), you know it won't be soooo bad !!!! Wishing you all the best though, having watched my mom go through two recently... she's still waiting on the results of the 2nd one. Hope all goes well for you.... try to keep calm!! I know it's hard!! Laura. |

I had one on my neck. It did feel strange going in the tunnel, but it was okay. I had ear thingies on which they played music in order to drown out the noise of the machine. You could turn up the music really loud. You wll be fine. |
