I agree that 18 months is a derisory sentence. Eighteen years seems rather more appropriate.

Hanging is too good for him, he should be put in front of the public and let them deal with him, especially all the people he has abused over the years.

hi fiona,that creep has been about since i were young.hes been sent down so many times its unreal.yet he still carrys on. my mum and dad were offered a flat next door to him,they said if you accept this flat we will need you to watch him.......my dad said no way as he would be up for murder.he said i have grandchildren who visit.and would not put them at risk. deaths too good for him.xx

I believe ALL sex offenders, whatever level, should be shot at dawn. This will never happen in this country. So they should be tattooed on the forehead with the words SEX OFFENDER. My sons abuser got 5 yrs for 35 offences over a 21 yr period, involving boys between 11 and 13. A the court, we were told that his sentnce was lenient, as he had no previous convictions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He did just under 3 years because he was 'accepting' treatment while in prison, after he apparently admitted he had a 'problem' If i knew where he was now, i would hunt him down and kill him. jean it makes my skin crawl........i admit ive seen him in town on a number occasions,and i admit i cannot keep my gob shut. but it does,nt bother him.....i cant repeat what i said to him......but he looked up and smiled and said........WHY THANKYOU.......my 2 mates had to sit on me,litterally.

It is only recently i found out we have proven paedophiles living near our play park, I ask you???? There is not a damn thing you can do about it until they actually do something to a child sickening isn't it??? My kids do not go there unless i am with them, i feel very uncomfortable about going but the kids love the park and why shouldn't they go and enjoy themselves ?

What the government should do is pass a law where ALL sex offenders should be made into EUNUCHS. Then they should have a bag on the side of their bodies to contain all the urine. Then the sex offenders cannot use it for sex offences. Or better still put them in a room full of the victim's mothers and they wouldn't come out alive. I would be the first in the queue as 3 of my daughters were offended against. 1 got 12 yrs,1 got 7 yrs and the other got away with the offence. If I could find the scraps of humanity that did this to my daughters I would gladly go to prison. Suexxx

This is the guy who campagined for years for the law be changed ,and wholey belives that its perfectly NORMAL to have sex with children,,,and wanted the age limit of consented 16 to be squashed,,,,,,,one of the arresting police officers. said he found this quite chilling ,David Joy is a educated and well spoken man,,,,, I find it quite ''chilling '',the court can even concider parol after 18months for the Skunk,,,,,,,,

Catherine Thanks for you thoughts. My daughters are adults now and we went to court over these 3 misfits. My daughters are like me very strong characters and wouldn't let it beat them down. Yes they have to live with it for the rest of their lives but they all had councilling which was good for them. But I have always even now protected my family.God if someone tried it with the grandkids I would personally kill them and be glad to do time in prison. Suexxxx

Sue I find it quite hard to comprehend how anone can overcome abuse let alone suffer from it. Thankgod me and my family have never gone through it. Im' glad your daughters have come through it, it must have been very hard to talk about it esp if it happened a while ago, I totally admire them and their strength to not let it or him affect their lives forever. you have obviously played a bit part in their lives and helped them too, and I admire you for that. you are obviously such a supportive and loving mother.
