Hi LL, I didn't know GR were chargeing that much per year, think I am just under £10:00 for the year. I think you must be speaking about the new rate for just 6 months. I can't understand how GR can have two differnt prices like this. It must be because they have upgraded the website and you and others like you are paying for it. I will miss you if you go as I always look forward to reading your posts and you give so many people help searching their family. Can't you reconsider please!!!! Betty

Hi, Betty, Newbie and Deanna. What can I say???? Thats 2 who have offered to pay for me to stay. I am flattered beyond belief, I didn't think anyone cared to be honest. The fact remains though. GR are ripping people off. This 3 tiered system is totally unfair. I have been around for a long time and GR have even acknowledged this, but still want to charge me £9.95 SIX monthly rather than 12 monthly as it should be. It isn't a matter of if I (or anyone else who feels as I do) can afford it or not. It's the principle of it. Newbie, even though we haven't known each other long, your offering to pay for me like that means alot. You are an amazing person to do that. Will miss you all. Hope we CAN stay in touch. LLx

Hello lady Lucan, I have just come in and seen this, I cannot say i blame you for feeling that GR is being unfair. I have just renewed at 9.95 for a year...don't know why it was that price for me and not for others, there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to who pays what! I haven't spoken to you a great deal except on your 'bluetits' thread! Do wish you well for the future and may well see you on another site! There seems to be something of a mass exodus from here for a number of reasons lol Rosexx

Hi Buggs, I agree, tho' it's nothing to do with any trouble on here. I can and have fought my corner on a couple of occasions over the yrs. I'm afraid it's the unfair pricing that has driven me away. GR have accepted I am an old member, and STILL insist on wanting to charge me £9.95 six monthly. (long story, but basically, lost my original email addy when husband messed with computer grrr) LLx
