Gwynne, I get the feeling I am being accused of something here??? I haven't been around for ages, have no Idea what is/has gone on, and if you look at date when I first put the thread up, it was BEFORE the weekend. LLx

The only thing you are being accused of is nudging a thread at an inopportune time, given what has happened. If you weren't here to see then you weren't to know. Some members posted abusively about others in what they thought was secret but they were found out and GR suspended some of them. Gwynne

I can't agree more! In the last few weeks I have found some people on here that I never thought I would get on with but I have! Can I also tell you something I got taught a long time ago....... to ASSUME makes as ASS out of U and ME! lol! xx

Gwynne, I wrote that thread on the 17th. BEFORE the weekend. How could I possibly know someone was going to fall out with someone else? (daft question, it's an everyday occurance). I have NO idea WHO you are refering to, nor do I care. So, please don't accuse me of something I am NOT guilty of. I WOULD like to see people get on on here, but I have realised that is NOT going to happen. I also nudged another thread, do you have a problem with that one? LLx

LL, I've already said you weren't to know why I thought it inopportune to nudge now if you weren't here. I didn't say anything about when the thread was written just that now seemed an odd time to nudge it, given what has happened - but you've said you didn't know. I asked a question I didn't make an accusation. It seemed to me ironic to nudge a thread about not making assumptions about people after what had happened at the weekend, when people who appreared friendly on the boards were shown to be unpleasant. People are never going to get on while such hypocrisy exists, sadly It would be lovely if everyone were to get on but that's never going to happen while GR let people get away with abuse. Gwynne

Gwynne, And I have said, I was not aware, nor do I care. I have nudged the thread everyday since I put it up, but because, something apparently happened at the weekend (that didn't concern me) I still get the impression I am being accused of something. If you don't like me or have a problem with me thats fine I don't give a fig. I have never done or said anything wrong to you, and can't understand what your problem is. I, will not be replying to anymore of your replies, as I don't feel it's fair to other members to be reading this. Theres enough trouble on these boards without ME adding to it. LLx

Hi LL don't think I have hardly ever spoken to you, but what you say about losing out is true. is this site value for what it costs.? YES when you think about, it its not really expensive and as you say there are some really nice people on here ( there are also some idiots as well) but hey! you don't have to talk to them. sorry to hear you're leaving you could be losing out on some great friendships as you put it.

LL, I was explaining not accusing. I don't see how I could have been more clear. You explained you hadn't been around and I explained why I asked the question. I can't help how you feel but I've said three time now that I'm not accusing you of anything, if you choose not to accept that there isn't a lot I can do about it. I was trying to avoid potential trouble by explaining why I asked you why you nudged but you don't seem happy with my explanation. I thought we were clearing up a misunderstanding not causing trouble. Gwynne

Hi L L, I'm not sticking up for GR, far from it, but at the end its a business, and they have to make sure its profitable, running this site cannot be cheap. I ran my own business for many years and I can tell you its hard work. I would think the server here costs enough, and after all the cost of membership is only a few pounds, a few packets of cigarettes or a few T&Gs. think about it.

I know what you are saying Foggy and I also understand that this is the only 'contact' (sorry not sure if I have used right description here, but hope you know what I mean) with other people. I often feel lonely and love a good old natter. I have a wicked sense of humour, not always appreciated by some I know, but thats me. I genuinely will miss some people on here, and would like to keep in touch. It is the 3 tiered system that has driven me away in the end. Take Care Foggy. LLxx
