Lesley-yes we did have half days out Sunday afternoons the whole family would pile into any available vehicles and head off to Cleveleys or Fleetwood with butties and crisps for a few hours at the coast-not holidays though,all were self employed and so couldn't afford a break. What a wonderfull time we all had though-real family bonding. |

My Lambretta with union jack seat, fly screen & mirrows of course, time of my life, Monty Python Flying Circus, leaving school, starting work and college, and the music to die for, first package holliday to Spain, dances with live bands, just goes on and on |

i left school 67, first job--trainee millinary machinist, i can even remember the date i started 4/8/67, oh i thought i was the bees knees going to work in my mini skirt,little handbag & umbrella--one those with a long bamboo handle! my nan bought it for me for my 16th birthday. |

For me, the Sixties whizzed by in a mixture of sex, drugs, Bicardi, and rock and roll. I don't remember much but it must have been good because I smile whenever I think of those times...lol BC XX |
