Just spent a fortnight away, one week of which was on a 'white knuckle' adventure holiday, during which for the first time ever I went abseiling, canyoning, paragliding, white water rafting, hydra speeding and high wiring. That's ticked off quite a few on my list. What's on yours? Daisy

Kitty, can barely describe the sheer terror and excitement! Absolutely incredible although I did draw the line at the Via Ferrata which is basically bouldering at 800 metres and looked too terrifying. My two eldest kids did it though and loved it! Before anyone thinks I'm an irresponsible parent they are 21 and 19 and have already done all the above several times over!! Oh and I also did mountain biking for the first time - fabulous scenery over 17 kilometres and managed not to fall off once, unlike hubby who went over the handlebars more times than he cares to admit! lol Daisy

Mummykins, I gave that up - way too dangerous; kept pricking my finger on the needle! Daisy

Good for you Daisy. We are off to Wales again and hope to do some cycling this time, along the Millenium Coastal Path cycle pathway. Won't try at the beginning of the holiday tho just in case I do myself an injury lol My pal will be staying in Cambridge the first week of Sept so might get over to visit her for a couple of days, will let you know if I do. WOW.......Daisy, it sounds like you had a fantastic time. The only brave thing I have ever done is to go on a white knuckle ride at Buch Gardens with Alex (Steve hurt his shoulder, cause he fell off the monkey bars while hanging upside down) lol Good to see you back. Love Suzy :o) xx

I want to move to South Warwickshire (some hope), print my entire tree out, see my kids become parents (if they choose to), have a couple more holidays, see the government doing some good.

So many names/faces I haven't seen for a while! Hi everyone! Turned 46 last week so 4 years to pack a few more things in. Next on the list are: A sky dive Abseiling down Table Mountain Running the Two Oceans Half Marathon in Capetown And, less extreme but proving more difficult, finish writing my first book and maybe even get it published.
