Just saw this,,,My brother and half sister live in Heaton,,,My father came from Seaham Harbour,,,,grandparents from Newcastle, Sunderland and Tynemouth,,,hubbies family still living in North Shields and most of his ancestors are rfrm the same area...lovely part of the country, |

Hi guys I live in Leeds now but am of good Geordie stock. Born in Hexham and lived in Crawcrook, between Blaydon/Ryton and Prudhoe for my first 11 years. I am very proud of being a Geordie and return as often as I can. Ive traced my family back to 1730 so far in Newcastle - think I must be the first to leave!! Lindsey PS - what I would give for proper Geordie fish and chips in Leeds!! |
