It has to be Vegemite..I would die without it..used to take mine in my luggage to UK, or go to Australia House shop and buy it if I ran out..thank goodness they sell it over there now. I love Bonox too..our version of Bovril. Kaye.

Don't drink Bovril but it's pretty nice on toast! Marmite is the winner though, don't like Vegemite.

Claire and Maz are right. YUK! I'm not a fan of savoury drinks, or of milky ones either, though I did appreciate the nightly Horlicks in hospital when I had my children. nell

Love Bovril. Cold Saturday at the football with a really hot Bovril with a pie to dip in it . Just the thought of it, I'll have to go to the football on Saturday now.

Never tried vegemite but bovril and marmite are both gross so have no wish to try vegemite if it is anything like them. Mel.

I'm no Aussie, but it has to be vegemite...though Promite is not bad on hot toast. Love that kinda celery taste in the morning. But Vegemite I love any time on bread, toast or crackers. Thick with lots of butter! When I used to go to Asia, I could never take enough Vegemite! I would turn up at breakfast in the hotel and all the Aussies would swamp me.....my jar, if I got it back at the end of breakfast was usually empty. You guys that haven't tried it, don't know what you're missing. Lyn
