Hi there,I rescued a Samoyed 10 months ago and within 1 week of getting him he was rushed into animal hospital and stayed for 1 week. After 2 days, the vet wanted him put down, but I fought for him. Within 1 week, his bill was over £1000.00 as he was diagnosed with diabetes and acute pancreatitis. I didn't even have time to get insurance on him! I know how you feel about seeing him in the vet. It is heartbreaking. I feel for you. Good luck Elaine |

Its funny how we get so attached to them! We have a mongrel that I got from the dogs home and I dont know what I would do if anything happened to her as she really is part of the family! I hadnt planned on getting a dog and had gone with a mate who was getting a pup but I fell in love with Millie straight away and brought her home! I really hope your little lad gets better soon and can soon be home with you!! Bev |

Duncan, just seen this thread. So sorry to hear about your dog, and hoping he makes a full recovery. It sounds to me like he may have beenTAKEN from your yard for the purposes of a fight, not escaped. Do you think that is possible?Only you said it looked like more than one dog had attacked the poor wee mite and there are peolpe about who would be this evil I'm afraid. LOts & lots of love for him when he gets back. Joan. |
