Hi I have two 'teenagers'. J (19) who is at Oxford studying Computer Science. T (13) who is at 'a special' school due to his learning disabilities. Just goes to show that ALL teenagers are different....Be it though Genetic, Social or Aquired 'problems' or just because thats the way they are!! Chris |

Steph it's much easier to moan about the kids than it is too praise them. I spent two days lastt week on here doing nothing but moan about them, then after a day out they was wonderful. I felt awful so i post an apology to them. I agree with you though, you shouldn't tar people with the same brush!!! |

Steedie you are wonderful and you can be one of my teenagers any day. I have a 15 year old daughter who is also wonderful and no trouble at all. My son in his teens got into all sorts of scraps but the one thing people always said was how polite he was to everyone. That is how he is now bringing up hhis 2 sons, one of them a teenager. And Daisy...... I know just what you mean!! Help! Jacky xx |

Steedie, You are an angel, and don't let it get to you if people moan about other teenagers. If they were all like you, the world would be a much better place! Love, CB >|< XX |

Just as not all 'old' people are not miserable and grumpy, so all teenagers are not bad mannered, rude and out of control. All the teenagers I know personally are lovely - but they have lovely parents. I have come across some horrors in town, no doubt they have been brought up to do as they like. We can't all be the same and we know you are a very nice person Steedy. Incidentally 50 years ago, I was in a hurry to get into a phone box (remember them) and brushed against a women in my hurry. she grabbed me and said 'Manners maketh man.... AND women you know!' And I was such a mouse too. So nothing has changed in peoples' perceptions. Ann Glos |
