Dust? What's that then? Oh you mean the protective covering that nature kindly puts on all my most precious possessions to stop them getting hurt by the sun? Or my spy system to see what the children have been rooting in whilst I have been upstairs making the beds or hanging the washing out? It all depends on your point of view! Abigail

It's only a problem, when you start moving the dust about. ... Just leave it.

I have the finest dust collection on the South Coast. I keep it on any available flat surface, unlike my collection of bugs and insects which I keep on the front of my car. lol

Part of a poem I read once - can't remember the beginning 'There will be time for cleaning and cooking Children grow up when you're not looking. So quiet down cobwebs, Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.' Daisy

Daisy I love the quote from your mother but I am the other way around! My house is dirty enough to be healthy and clean enough to be happy! Wait till I tell my own mother! In fact I am going to write it in felt tip and put it on my fridge. Abigail

I have always wanted to know how the inside of wardrobes gets so dusty - after all the doors are kept shut. Also how the cutlery drawer gets dirty so quickly when it is only clean cutlery that goes in it? After nearly 50 years have not found an answer. Perhaps you know. Ann

Perhaps you have the dust fairys and mess elves in your home like me?!!! My children never mess up their rooms, someone sneaks in when they are not looking and trash the place...very strange!!!!

~♥ Daisy ♥~ Report 22 Feb 2005 23:18

Fairies and elves - very naughty little beings! We also have a little person called 'Not Me' who gets the blame for everything. Whenever I ask who did it they say 'Not Me'. Thanks for the rest of the poem Linda. Daisy
