Its short for katie lol............ no it is just katie, when i had my first daughter natasha the woman opposit named her baby katie and i fell in love with the name and said if i ever have another girl i would call her katie....5 years later i had another girl and stayed with the name and i still love it now kimx

If I had a daughter I would have called her Rosie (surname is Reeder) I think Rosie Reeder sounds really cute.

Robyn and Phoebe for a girl, Kyle and Kieran for a boy. No kiddies myself yet but I've always loved these.

Depends on your first infatuation I guess. Perhaps not even your mothers name, as popularity waxes and wanes. My mothers name was Martha, which is slightly coming back into fashion. Just 10 years or so ago, Harry and George were distinctly unfashionable - now look. Currently not very fond of Herbert, but things will change. Happy days

my kids names are Louise, Craig and Laura. Laura would have been Emily Kate if her name had of been left to me

My favorite boys names would have to be my sons' names - Nathaniel Adam and Zachary Thomas. As far as girls names go - I just heard the name Cadence the other day and I think it's beautiful! I also like Sadie, Rebekah, Anna, Beth, Martha, Meredith. Lots of names I really don't like, but don't want to mention them just in case there are people out there with those names, or who like them :) Joanne
