A large brandy usually does the trick - it might not cure the cold, but you don't care that you've got it! Get well soon, Collette! CB >|<

I am definitely grouchy and coming down with a cold. Lemsip, high dose Vitamin C, and cant wait for bedtime when I have a hot toddy too. Sniff sniff...

Oh yes, the best is sloe brandy.... It dont taste like brandy funnily enough, but it does hit the spot. Hubby's home made soup is a great cure too.

Collette has the snuffles so I am having a hot Lemsip as a precautionary measure. Anyone got their own favourite remedies?
