Tell me your Mrs Butter-Smith-Jones daughter and I'll kiss ya?. My gym teacher lived in Pontifract with two daughters....she was a star in my 'not so good life back then' I was sent to St Peters Boarding School only because there was no where else to put me. I survived (just!) for almost a year before moving on to the most wonderful childrens home you could wish for and Mr Ted and Mrs Gwen Chiltern. They in later years moved on to work for Dr. Banardos.

Jeanette we don't do the sunday roast that we used to have as a family thing on Sunday when were kids but we wouldn't be anyway as I'm nursing a sore knee at the moment so not cooking at all its a beautiful day here in downtown Yarrawonga vic Australia where the fish are always biting(not)and the sun always shining (mostly true) love to you all xxLara

wow lara- sounds idylic ! my sister in law emigrated to oz 15 years ago- now she will not come back ! she loves it ! phones us on xmas day to brag about the barbie she is having , lol.

lol lara- see what you mean ! right now though, she is in a pretty upset state. she got engaged to an oz'y- lovely man ! she brought him over when i 'finally' married her brother , 5 years ago.[ did they recently alter the laws over where you are, something to do with , the wife automatically getting 1/2 of hubby's dosh ?? ]all i know is , some law or another changed, and ann's hubby to be , ran for the hills ! anyway she is still there, but now very single again ! she lives in nswales. have got [on promise] a freebee holiday- just difficult sparing 6 weeks to go ! but we will do it- when we dont have to plan around school hols anymore !

Sue that's pretty awful although I don't know if the law changed if you even live with a bloke over here for three months or more you get half of everything unless he takes it to court I think and proves that he paid for the whole house or whatever himself and it was his before you, any way either way she's better off he sounds like a p***k as we say over here, has she been married before ?theres some dreadful con men here as well conning women to loan them money etc even mortgage their houses and then shooting through with it all there has been some stories on tv lately about them so maybe she is well rid of him hope she cheers up and finds a 'Decent Aussie bloke who knows how to treat a good sheila'LOL love Lara xx
