When you are at home do you have your own privacy? I just thought i forgot to add this to the first part of my thread earlier...i have found that i have NO privacy anymore! you know what he did...i was in the bath, with the door locked, he managed to unlock it and walked straight in, i mean all i wanted to do was shave my legs in private. Is this what happenes now? am i never going to be able to even go to the toilet in private now?? LOL x |

You'll just have to gently tell him that us ladies have certain thing s to do that have to be done in private. You'd think his mother would have told him! Jo.X |

Privacy, what's that? Can't remember the last time I went anywhere near the bathroom alone. Anyone would think I was incapable of sorting myself out! |

Steedie When my husband and I first moved in together umpteen years ago, he got a book out of the library called 'Come live with me' which had ground rules for cohabiting. Things like how to sort out finances, establish privacy in the bathroom etc. I remember that one of the rules is that the female gets 80% of the wardrobe space. When we had kids we had one bathroom with the loo in it. I found both kids wanted to accompany me in there all the time. Later on, as soon as I sank into a relaxing foam bath there would be a knock on the door 'Need to do a poo NOW' . We now have a downstairs loo an upstairs bathroom with loo and my bedroom has an ensuite. Bliss! nell |

My boyfriend can pick the lock on the bathroom door and comes in when i am in the bath. He sits on the loo and talks to me!!! Very annoying. |

The height of intimacy, eh? Nell, by the way, that book sounds good! Bit late for us now, but I'll tell hubby about the 80% of the wardrobe bit. |

I know exactly what you mean. My little girl even tries to get on my knee when I'm on the loo! As for my son - well, after many false starts I now have him trained to knock on the bathroom door. He is getting the idea though becuase he was most indignant when his little sister walked in on him having a wee at the weekend! Abigail |
