Hi guys, after gaining permission form the family (sounds like the mafia) I am able to give you a brief update on our beautiful star Gaynor!

The birthday girl herself in her tiara, was alert when she was awake bless her.... as you can imagine she tires very easily now, but she knows who we all are (so she isn't quite the Mad woman I've been calling her these last 12 months), she managed to laugh and smile, especially when opening all the cards and presents she recieved. The family are with her and keep her supplied with food, tea and pink drinks!! :O) Being blunt as Gaynor would always be.... the doctors have predicted weeks rather than months, but then they also told her she wouldn't see her bithday, so who knows. Jack and Clare have printed out all your messages and I know they find the support fantastic. So for now that's all we can tell you!! Thanks again for all your messages, emails and cards.... we appreciate them greatly!! Pink xx

how well I remember Gaynor telling us all of a visit to the hospital that predicted that she wouldn't see her birthday. I guess yesteday is a tribute to Gaynor's strenght and tenacity. You keep on 'keeping on' Gaynor. jess
