My hubby! made the fatal mistake of introducing him to Sunday Roast and now he expects one every week HA!HA! Some hope of that... Which reminds me... apparantly mom made them the first week they were married, and our dad said his were better... no prizes for guessing who made the yorky's after that.... Magi

MY SON ! He won't eat a sunday dinner without more than a few on his plate ! Smothered in Gravy ... when hot or cold. Smothered in Cream, Jam, Marmalade when cold. He LOVES his Sunday dinner ...with SPROUTS and BROCCOLI ...yes you read me correct! He loves anything green ... except peas, and he spat them out from the age of 6 months !!! Funny aren't they kids ? ...!!!!! Elaine :-)

My 2 boys absolutely love them, once i made them and they went flat and soggy, now they always say, 'can we have the gone wrong sort' LOL Deb X

I thought they originally were piled up on the table and you took one, filled it with meat gravy and vegetables, and then had another one if you wanted seconds. Then if there were any left afterwards, cover em in jam and get munchin'.

My kids love them but the best bit is to eat with fresh cream and golden syrup as a pudding yumyumyumm!

behave you:):) i was brought up around farms here...most used to make yorkshires in a big metal oblong shallow dish...so everyone got a piece with crispy edge and softer middle..delicious:)
