emma im sure your fella knows how greatful you are, and he sounds like the kind of guy that just knows what to do , springs into action at the drop of a hat, are you sure you not with the milk tray man, brian now its all clear as to who you were on about hijacking your thread, 'Love Is' cartoon used to appear in the sun newspaper everyday in the 80s, when hubby and i were writing to each other, he cut one out saying 'love is being 8,000 miles away and showing you care,' he was in the falklands then, it started from there , everyday id cut them out and send them to him after that, when we met in the september, (yes there is a song called that by bryan hyland) we went for a day to Tenby and hubby found a little ornament of the figures off the cartoon and bought it for me, i still have it |

So sorry for hijacking your 'normal service' Brian. Rest assured I won't 'gatecrash' again. 'You know who' |

Emma I am so sad for you,it must have been a traumatic time and something you are still coming to terms with. Your partner putting the letter together.....words fail me, that was wonderful he sounds so caring. Take care Emma Thanks to Brian for allowing Emma to unintentionally hijack your thread. |

I was once asked to make a cake for a raffle at a PTA Valentine's Day dinner dance, and I used the 'Love is ...' cartoon as a theme. The slogan read 'Love is ... the best gift of all!' (There's a pic of it on page 3 of my Photospage album.) CB >|< |
