I feel sorry for the poor man. It's a shame that he can only retire by dying. Louise |

Isn't it against the 10 Commandments to worship an idol, or someone, i.e. The Pope. Sorry, can't stand the Pope. He's almost just as bad as the rest of the religious fanatics. |

Bring good to the world but condemning those who have abortions as murderers? How does that bring good and understanding to the world? Sorry but I have VERY strong views on this point. |

Well the pope doesn't respect that others should have the right to have abortions. I'm not slagging off the Catholic faith or anything. Just that I don't understand how everyone can think that the 'sun shines out of the pope's bum', he's human, he has his own viewpoints and it's those that I disagree with. What's scary is those that follow him..... they will tend to have his viewpoint too. |

chloe please don't think i am being rude but like i said we have to respect their faith and i for one am not going to stand here and slag the pope off.i too feel that the policy of abortion is wrong.but what about protection on the womens part.i for one in my view do not believe in abortion unless the child is disabled and the parent feels that it is in the best interest for the child.abortion is too easy nowadaysxxx(: |

A great man of our time ,im not catholic but he is respected and admired by many. each to his own Chloe.but abortion is murder and the answer to not having to abort is ----dont get pregnant in the first place. even the morning after pill is committing murder. so all you fertile girls out there think about what you are doing. |

It's not at all. Do you think that someone WANTS to have their child literally sucked out of them? Do they WANT to give birth to their child stillborn? It is NOT something goes into lightly and effects the rest of their lives. It is not used a 'birth control'. How many young women would be out there, on benefits, because they had to have the child.... putting more strain on the economy because they're not working and to support the child? What about a pregnancy through rape? It is no where near an easy decision to make. I used to be dead against abortion and then I experienced the devastion first hand. Funnily enough that changed my mind. Chloe |

pregnancy through rape is a different matter chloe but it's not just about protection.how about disieses .they are on the increase due to unprotected sex.i agree with another member.this is a life not just a mistake that you can get rid of.use protection that is the answer.the pope has his views just like anyone else.it is a free country and free speechxx(: |

It's not murder, Wendy. And if you had actually experienced it, then you wouldn't be so blunt and narrowminded about it. As for not getting pregnant in the first place, you can be the most careful person in the whole world and still get pregnant. But then again, us women shouldn't be having sex before marriage, should we? Bloody alright for men! |

My sister has had an abortion. It is NOT an easy decision to make. We were brought up as strong Christians. She was not promiscuous, she was a child herself. I won't go on about that any more. There are no mistakes in this world, I forgot, humans are perfect, aren't they? |
