Bonjela and ibuprofen. Again and again. Numbs it. Brush them well too. I had the same problem a few weeks ago (I'm 21), bloomin' painful! |

Sympathy oh Queenie - I know what it's like - had the same problem some years ago and finally had the beggers out as it turned out they were impacted. My dentist did say that he thought the reason why the pain ebbed and flowed (so to speak) was hormonal - i.e. something to do with the female cycle and looking back he could have been right actually. Rub neat whiskey on your gums - you dont notice the pain after a while - it all becomes blurred. Jacqui |

It means the buggers aint never going to erupt!!!! they just keep trying to, and then settling again until the next try - bit like a volcano. Hope you are lucky and yours 'erupt' (I think this is correct dentistry terminology actually - I vaguely remember the dentist talking about eruptions, and I didnt have any zits as I recall - lol). Any alcohol will do, although whiskey is best as it has numbing features. Have you tried a baby's BikkiePeg? One of those really hard biscuits given to babies to help them when they are teething. Not very feminine down at the pup, but a talking point if nothing else. I think you can get a little ribbon to attach to the BikkiePeg and a safety pin to attach it to your cardigan - lol Jacqui ps Not making fun, know it's agony |

Used to have a liquid for mouth ulcers, can't remember what it is called but it contains lignocaine which is local anaesthetic. Could always pop down the local vets for an injection of the same thing!! Ros:-))) |
