My Daughter & I would like to Thank everyone very much for all your kind heart felt messages, we were not expecting a response or anything like this. You are such warm & caring people. we are grateful in you all trying to ease the pain we are enduring at this moment in time. Both of us sat reading your condolenses and have never felt so much warmth & comfort sent to us. Once again we Thank you all a million times over for you have helped to ease our pain. with Love Linda & Katy xx |

Linda, I am so sorry about your recent loss and know that no words will really cmfort you and your family at the moment. We lost our Labrador in similar circustances a few years ago and still think of her but these days the nicer memories are those that remain. We had our dog buried at the local pet cemetary and still go and chat to hear from time to time. Sure all animals have a heaven to go to that is free of pain - have read the books os several spiritualist mediums that say people will be re-united with their beloved pets when they too pass over. |

Linda My heart goes out to you. We have gone through this once with our GSD Sheba and now have our beloved Koyli who the last year has been on borrowed time. It is so hard and I pray your dog is out of pain now. And I pray that my old darling just goes to sleep and not wake up when her time comes Be brave and god bless julia xx |

Dear Linda and daughter, I am so sorry to hear of your grief at losing your faithful friend. I know the heartbreak from when we had our doberman Portia put to sleep. She also could not stand up after the vet trying every kind of medicine to help her. In the end you just have to do what is kindest for your dear pal. You couldn't let him suffer and panic like that, and you did what in the end was the kindest and gentlest way of releasing him from more suffering. I am sure there is a life after death for animals as well as for people and we will all meet again when our time comes. Love Kathyx |

'A Pets Prayer' If it should be that I grow frail and weak, And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then you must do what must be done, For this, the last battle, can't be won. You will be sad, I understand, Don't let this grief than stay your hand, For this day, more than the rest, Your love and friendship stands the test. We've had so many happy years, What is to come can hold no tears, You'd not want me to suffer, so, When the time comes, please let me go. Take me where my needs they'll tend, Only, stay with me till the end, And hold me firm and speak to me, Until my eyes no longer see. It is a kindness you do to me. Although my tail, it's last has waved, From pain and suffering I've been saved. Don't grieve that it should be you, Who decides this thing to do, We've been so close, we two, these years, Don't let your heart hold any fears. Smile for we walked together for a little while |

Linda Your a girl after my own heart. I lost my soul mate a few years ago 'Bramble' My black n white springer. He was born on my bed (I had his mum Bonnie) He chose me not me him from the litter of 6. (he has taste lol) I know he ended up at the pet cremetorium in Royston Herts at the age of 14 and when driving past that way some time after, I saw a black n white young springer running happily accross the fields in the distance with a young girl....(I lost a baby and was told it was a TALL girl) ((thats another story)) I KNOW that was my Bramble! he was young/ happy n healthy. another story.... I used to look after a little jack russel when her mum n dad went on holiday. They really loved her but alas diddnt look after her too well. (Vet bills ) She had canker/ ear mites in her ears and suffered badly. When she was in my charge I took her to the vet. I also took her to the vets when her mum n dad were home (they diddnt know) A couple of weeks after she had died aged 14 I was near the woods (where we walked her) A young healthy happy Jack russle ran up to me all smiles and jumped up me.... in a flash she was gone!...I KNOW that was SALLY! Sally was thanking me. DOG spelt backwards spells?????? DOGS ARE NOT JUST FOR CHRISTMAS...... Gerri xxx PS...Mea They are lovey words. Thankyou... PPS... I have some of BRAMBLES fur in a ceramic pot and my kids have instructions that that fur has to be put in my coffin with me when that time comes. |
