not doing relay might leave GR

Well thank you to those that emailed/messaged me about the Teddy Bear Relay. I thought that instead of answering the emails individually I would reply on here so everyone can see how sad some of you are and how annoyed I am. I did not offer my help in the relay to be 'on the Bandwagon' as I have been accused of but as a mark of respect for an old contact/aquatance on GR. Well when I first wrote on these boards it was still called GC !!!!!!!!!! and i dont think any of the mail received came from people who were on the boards then!!!! when I left GC 2 years ago due to not having a computer I missed everyone... there are still many on here I will miss BUT NOW SEVERAL I WONT..... I wish a god bless and take care to my Friends and good bye to the others, Malc....................Due to the messages and phone call I have received I will stay on the boards..Thank you to my freinds out there giving me your support.. She Wray will slap my legs if I leave anyway LOL .shes got to catch me firstt!!! |

Malc - taking part in the relay isn't compulsory...some of us have other friends or people we know who have this dreadful disease and wish to help by raising funds....I have two - one aged under 35 and one who has sadly just died....I am taking part for them and for others I may know in the future...I don't feel that I am 'jumping on the bandwagon'...if I could run a marathon or do anything else I would....but being part of this relay is something I can do.......... |

Just re-reading your posting Malc. How can anyone, or why should anyone think you are joining the relay to be on the bandwagon? I wasn't aware there was one, i thought we were all doing it in memory of gaynor. there are some very sick people around. ann glos |
