Have you all seen Jenny's message on the announcement thread. I think maybe we are all being a little too ambitious. Vivienne |

Hi, if I have GB in Yarmouth, I will take her to meet Rory the Tiger (I have a caravan on the Haven site.) But if I have GB in Suffolk, I will take her to Newmarket to see the horses. |

Sorry to add this, Added by Mommylonglegs Tynemouth on 18/04/2005 15:01:02 Important. Please read. I am very sorry if I upset anyone. I am a little concerned about the amount of visits, to places of interest that members are hoping and arranging to take Gaynor Bear to. Please do not make any public announcements yet. The main aim of this relay was to get Gaynor Bear to as many areas of Great Britian, where we had members that could take part. If all areas could get their route from member to member in their particular area sorted first. Then we can see where there are likely to be any hold ups. This is when there will be a chance for Gaynor Bear to go to somewhere special. There is no guarantee that anyone will be able to have Gaynor Bear for the whole day. Especially if the next member has a tight schedule, and so on. We cannot hold up the relay if the next person is limited to a time when they can get Gaynor Bear and take them to the next person. She has to be passed on down the chain. I shall be concentrating on getting the first three areas ready for next week. Then go through the areas as the route on this thread. Hope you all understand what I am trying to say. Any queries please add to the Main Thread not this one. Thanks. Jenny |

My son is a ballroom and latin american competitor. If Gaynor bear is able to spare a few hours in Llanelli he is going to take her for a waltz at the local dance studio. Trixie |

Hi people, these are all great suggestions for Gaynor Bear's holiday treats but please all be aware of Jenny's cautionary posts re timing of visits and handovers. Groups are co-ordinating their efforts but as Jenny has said elsewhere, she needs to concentrate on the first few areas right now. Best wishes to all, :-))) Jen |
