I was going to put a similar thread up but I wonder if I may join yours. I would like to echo everything that you have said. I'm sure everyone on here, that can't be there in person, will be there in spirit. Saying goodbye to a lovely lady. Chrissie x |

What a lovely idea--I'll be there, six pm, toasting a lady who has been an inspiration to so many of us. I never met Gaynor--but I will never forget her courage and strength. Sal.XX |

6pm, I too will join you to toast a very courageous and inspirational lady. And a second toast to her wonderful family for sharing her with us these past few months. they have had to bear their grief in public and I do admire them all for that. May they be given extra strength to cope without her. Much love Ann glos |

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God has laid you see. I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close of day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and peace to thee, God wanted me now, He set me free Cheers Gaynor xxx |
