Hi! Josie, I haven't got time now but will answer your question about where my ancestors came from tomorrow. I'll have more time then. See you, Sylvia |

Hello, Josie. Welcome. I hope you enjoy yourself here. Did you mention Ipswich Town? After Crystal Palace, I also support Ipswich - partly because of my Suffolk ancestry! :-) Joy |

Hi Christine, Guinevere and Sylvia - thanks for the welcome. Sylvia - I have many names and dates for Finbow but not too many of the wives yet, still working on it! Where in Suffolk did your family originate - the Finbows on my husbands side were originally from Cotton and Bacton in Suffolk (17-1800's)and later Ipswich (late 1800-2000). Up to now have not come across Lambert or Brinkley but will keep an eye out! all the best and bifn Josie |

Hi! Josie and Welcome. My family originated from Suffolk and I think I know the name Finbow, so I am wondering if we are related in any way. My Mother's side of the family were Lambert and my Father's side were Brinkley. Do you know of anyone with those names? I would be interested if you do. We live in Western Australia now and have been here for 30 years. Best wishes to you from Sylvia |

To have loved and then said farewell, is better than to have never loved at all. For all of the times that you stooped and touched my head, fed me my favorite treat and returned the love that I so unconditionally gave you. For the care that you gave to me so unselfishly. For all these things I am grateful and thankful. I ask that you grieve not for the loss, but rejoice in the face that we lived, loved and touched each others lives. My life was fuller because you were there, not as a master/owner, but as my FRIEND. Today,I am as I was in my youth. The grass is always green, butterflies flit among the flowers and the Sun shines gently down upon all of God's creatures. I can run, jump, play, and do all the things that I did in my youth. There is no sickness,no aching joints,no regrets and no aging. We await the arrival of our lifelong companions and know that togetherness is forever. You live in our hearts as we do in yours. Companions such as you,are so rare and unique. Don't hold the love that you have within yourself. Give it to another like me and then I will live forever. For love never really dies; and you ARE loved and missed as surely as we are. by Ken D. Conover |

'A Pets Prayer' If it should be that I grow frail and weak, And pain should keep me from my sleep, Then you must do what must be done, For this, the last battle, can't be won. You will be sad, I understand, Don't let this grief than stay your hand, For this day, more than the rest, Your love and friendship stands the test. We've had so many happy years, What is to come can hold no tears, You'd not want me to suffer, so, When the time comes, please let me go. Take me where my needs they'll tend, Only, stay with me till the end, And hold me firm and speak to me, Until my eyes no longer see. It is a kindness you do to me. Although my tail, it's last has waved, From pain and suffering I've been saved. Don't grieve that it should be you, Who decides this thing to do, We've been so close, we two, these years, Don't let your heart hold any fears. Smile for we walked together for a little while |

Hi Sue in West Yorkshire - used to live up that way!! Yes am researching Finbow for my husband, Skingle for myself (along with Porter and Bonney maternal side) so got my work cut out with 4 but fortunately all reasonably 'easy' names - apart from Porter - few of those about!! |
