My Dad is 79, dad-in-law 82 and his mum died aged 99, missed her 100th by 2 mth's. Marion

Oldest LIVING? Yikes! this has really brought it home to me.... :-z My Sister is 65 and I'm 56 that makes me second in line in being the oldest!!! Doesnt time fly!!!! Where does it go? I'm sure it speeds up after 30. Flipping did for me! Gerri x PS.. My grandmother She was 80 in January. She walks over 20 miles a week and is the fittest person I know!

My aunt Emily born in Hammersmith traveled alone to New York when she was just 16 she lives in Maine and is 98yrs, her brother my father is 91.

My dad who is 86 and in very good health. My mum who is 81 and still goes out to work at 5am, still in sound mind with no illness whatsoever. Yvonne

my great uncle was 97 in march.he lives in the US,still lives on his own although his sight is failing.he had a heart attack on his birthday and decided to discharge himself from hospital.he has now been told his insurance doesn't cover all his medical treatment but he's refusing to pay.his grandaughter told him they'll send him to prison but he said 'well i don't care ,i'll be kept warm and fed so whats the problem'. i think its this stubborness that got him through a troubled early life and kept him going
