'Have you had an accident? At work, on the road, or in a public place?' Don't like the fat cat compansation advert although it's now quite funny as you can just see the £ signs in his eyes.

I hate all the adverts so I flick to another channel! Viv

Don't like diet fanta one, as well as KFC, where everyone takes a swig and then spits it out again- although not seen it too much, only a couple of times. Perhaps they don't want flack that KFC are getting. Simone x

Oh the ESure ads are all annoying 'it's just a commercial', it's so patronising and stupid! Grrrr!

McDitzy Report 15 May 2005 10:53

If people are complaining about the KFC ad, saying that it will teach children to have bad manners, then they should also complain about the Peugeot ad where the little boy robs a bank for his dad. It's not the advertising companies responsibility to discipline children and teach them good manners. I think it's funny. I'm sure evryone of you have spoken with your mouth full at ONE point in your life. It certainly grabs your attention, I just don't like KFC! LOL Chloe I hate those loan ads, with the dolts of the screen going, 'we had no where else to turn to.... and we even had enough money left over to go on a holiday!' No wonder the country is in debt if we spend like that!!

Sue Report 15 May 2005 10:19

Isn't it strange that we all moan about the fast food advert with people singing with their mouths full - but we can't remember who it's for! A message here for the ad makers? LOL Sue xx

Don't like the stupid ad where the kids use KANDOO toilet wipes, then aren't shown washing their hands afterwards. It should be an integral part of any toilet ads to show people handwashing before leaving the 'bathroom' ( to quote an americanism.)

Martin Report 13 May 2005 09:29

Just watching the telly this morning and they have now received over 1000 complaints about the mouth full, singing (KFC?) advert. As much as we think children will not copy ... they do. Apparently one family wrote in to say that they actively encouraged their children to mimic the advert. How sick! Where will this sort of depravity lead to ... no doubt a tissue advert will soon show a family all picking their noses! Martin

Remember my message about the Pot Noodle Horn ad and how much everyone hated it? - well I have just realised it hasn't been on tv lately (Don't speak too soon). Maybe the Pot Noodle people read our threads.

I have to agree with Paul here. Michael Winner and his mouse drive me nuts and I agree, the C&G one is horrible. Pot noodle adverts are getting a bit ridiculous too, I used to think they were funny. What happende to the classic coca cola and 7up ones with the great music and gorgeous looking guys and gals - they were better than the tv programmes! Jack x

I also hate that one with their mouths full - is it for KFC? I don't normally take a lot of notice of the ads, but I did see one that worried me a bit last night. It was for 'Danone' those little bacteria drinks that now have added 'plant extracts' and it shows a man eating a potted plant. It was shown over the teatime - don't they realise that a lot of houseplants are poisonous and young children could think 'oh what a good idea'? Mandy :(

we have to 'flick' when adverts come on.

Absolutely hate Michael Winner's adverts, and they wouldn't insure him he's too old. Know the one you mean Jacky, but think it might work a bit. Hate the compensation adverts and those offering loans. Not seen the singing one, can't be watching the right channels. Ros

Yvette Report 11 May 2005 16:17

i loathe all of them so i leave the room or they are turned off/over every time if i am home. ......my kids love the car that transforms and dances and after hearing about it for the umpteenth time i did have a look ,and yes very clever, but all the others drive me mad.

Bec

Bec Report 11 May 2005 15:57

I have to mute the tv when Sharon Osbourne starts speaking (screeching). I hate the adverts where 'real' people recount how they hurt themselves at work and got compensation.

Unknown

Unknown Report 11 May 2005 15:57

Hi Martin Just read your thread and I have to say that that advert is positivly the worst ive ever had the misfortune to come across - I have to quickly switch the sound off when it comes on - it makes me so mad. What do these people take us for? All loan and credit adverts should be banned as well as the ringtones adverts. Vikki xx

Dreadful Advert? for me it has to be the current 'Asda' Sharon Osborne does the voice over in her transatlantic-Treacly accent!.........Have to rush for the remote.
