I've always been a very trusting person, but recently I've founfdmyself getting more and more distrustful, suspicious of people's motives... reading between the lines too much. Anyone else have this problem or is it just me, because I don't like it !!! |

Paul, I am sure you have a trusting nature, but maybe what you are reading between the lines may be true? XX BC |

Hiya Paul, I have always believed that you trust people until they give you a reason not to. I have been walked all over a couple of times but overall it tends to work for me! Having a suspicious mind will have you wondering about things all of the time and will drive you bonkers! Jack xx |

Jacks is right and I know this from personal experience as I had to stop myself from thinking this was a personal attack, I am always soooo paranoid about what people say and what they actually mean!!!!! Julie xxx |

I find it hard to trust people I dont really know, (especially on these boards) In the last year I find myself asking questions to myself over peoples motives as I have encounterd several people who have two sides to their face, and sadly I have been hurt by these people. But I find once I have found people I can trust, they dont let me down and support me when I need support, as I can do back to them. Thank's to all of my true friends on here....(you know who you are ) Elaine x |

Think perhaps one can spend too much time here trying to read between the lines & quite easily become paranoid..... Carol. |

Elaine A very valid point, and I think my friends know who they are too... I didn't want to imply that distrusted them (on the whole lol) Paul x |

Hi Paul, I know what you mean. I do have a few good friends on here whom I trust and think I get on Ok with most people. But sometimes I do wonder what people are getting at. Gwynne |

You're right to be suspicious of a few of the people on here, Paul. I've come to realise that there are those who have a very different 'off-boards' face to the one they present on the boards and there is a lot of stirring going on behind the scenes. I try not to be too pleasant on the boards just in case I give anyone the wrong impression:) |
