Carol, do you mean she actually married the two brothers,? or was married to ONE of them? one might have died Paul, but I didnt think it would have been allowed legally, any way?

Ok seems complicated but I think you're grandad and his brother would both be your great uncle and your grandad's brother would be (this could be wrong) your half-grandad. And I thought my lot were complicated. AL

hi carol, hope this helps! My father married my mother in 1957, my mother died in 1982, my father went on to marry my mother`s twin sister in 1986 who is also my aunt, so she is my aunt / stepmother who has 6 children, they are my cousins/ stepbrothers and sisters. confusing eh! linda x

My Grt Gran Married two brothers after my grt grandad died!!. She married one guy & when he died she married his brother in 1900. didnt think you could marry your brother in law .but she did I have the marriage certs to prove it. Dont know what relation they are to me tho, not blood but somehow by marriage I guess. Shirley
