Poor old you, Dee, there is nothing worse than toothache. I hope you feel better soon. Just lie down today on the sofa, and groan theatrically every now and again to get some sympathy from you other half. Don't forget to ring the little handbell when you want a drink, etc. lol!! Just check HRH's credentials for pulling teeth, is it by royal appointment lol? Sue x |

oh hun, I am the abscess Queen so I really feel for you! Be careful if Dentist gives you anti-b's - the ones they dish out tend to be very strong and if you booze you will be sick as a pig. Hang in there and make sure you finish the course. Then he will probably have to remove the tooth - sorry, but this is what has happened to me in the past. Make sure you check what painkillers you can take with the antis as some dont mix - ibuprofen is usually best for teeth as it reduces any inflammation. Thought I had your mobile number but can't find it?? Was gonna text and tell you to check this thread!! Hope you are feeling a bit better today. love Maz. XX PS the strong anti-b's also help you tan, so get out in the sun if you get a chance - worked for me on holiday last year! |

Hi everyone... Thanks so much for all the messages of sympathy and understanding...may not have cured the abscess but made me feel a lot better....big hugs to you all! I did sleep a little better last night, and, this evening, (dare I say it?)....I think the antibiotics are beginning to do their job. I tried the whisky mouthwash....gave some temporary relief and made my gums tingle!! Will be seeing my dentist (again) as soon as possible. Thanks again to all of you....for being here when I needed you. Love Dee x |
