I love msn and love to chat... can sometimes get in the way of research,,, but who cares... when a friendly nudge comes my way, I love it!! Have lots of contacts from GR and they are all lovely people, and when they want a break from anything, we chat, we don't invade others space either... if we are busy... we put it at the side of our names and we all know not to disturb them!! As Val said.... no cliques with us... just good, honest to goodness fun and laughter.!! Anne :)))

oh dear! Although I am somehow registered on it (or was until now), I don't know how to use it!! I read earlier about things on MSN, so when I arrived home I deleted it (I think). Joy

Well said Paul. MSN is my lifeline to keep in touch with my famliy and friends around the world. As a lot have said, it's the cheapest way to keep in touch and we can add the icons to reduce any possible friction. Well done Chunks Magi

I think MSN is great but you know some people will misuse anything. The thing that annoys me is when someone copies parts of a conversation and changes the meaning completely. These people are just troublemakers but we get those everywhere. I will continue to use MSN with my friends. June xx

Hi June, I agree with you. People should remember that when others copy and paste or forward emails they can be altered before they are passed on. I view msn conversations as private chat and have mine set up not to save conversations. It would be like taking a tape recorder with you when you meet your mates for a drink. Gwynne

I agree its not msn whos to blame for the problems.... operator error ie the people who use it to make hassle and problems for others. Since finding rellies on here has been great to chat to them in 'real time' instead of sitting waiting for '' you have mail !'' The latest version of Msn has cool features that allow you to be logged on as invisable too (or just appear invisable to certain people) handy if you dont feel like talking to some1 in particular. At the end of the day we all have freedom of choice. You can 'vet' who you want to receive emails from by simply deleting without reading or i know some ISP allow you to block emails/messages from certain people.
