I agree with Jess - spitting. Cyrus the Great, banned spitting and blowing your nose (They didn't have hankies in those days) in the persian Empire and that was about 2500 years ago. Seems they were quite civilized in those days. Dave

Jess and Dave, On the subject of spitting, the Chinese Goverment here ran a campaign during the SARS outbreak, trying to educate these people that spitting could spread the virus. They actually ran adverts on TV showing people spitting! What I could never work out is that they always showed this when I had a mouthful of food! Yes, that little irritation can go in Room 101 also.
