Sorry Wendy at bingo with Speedy. I have not got any pets and my son tells me the same story doesn't add anything so I know it is the truth. I have just put my son to bed and he seems ok

A similar thing happened to my son when he was only 2 so I know he couldn't be making stories up. He told me when he woke up and cried for me an old man came and told him shush mummy is coming. I told him the old man was looking after him and it sooned stopped. That was in my first house and we were only the second family to live there we often heard footsteps but it had a lovley homely feeling. Keep reasuring him and hopefully it will pass. Germaine. x

Val, If you are aware of this apparition, next time you sense him, just tell him firmly to go away. It worked for me. maggie

I have never seen him and if it is who I get the feeling it is I really don't want him to go away it has been my 2nd husband who has seen him sitting on the bed looking at me, I have heard him. Damien is asleep now left him till 10pm so I hope to night is better

val try leaving his light on at night it may help him, i believe in all this and myself and daughter have had some weird experiences with suspected spirits playing up, weve had stuff go missing , stuff moved, a medium said its just mischief, and has said we have a little girl who visits us, more than one medium has said this, they said just tell them to stop playing games, try saying at night when little ones sleeping is not the time to play games, hope your little lad stays happy and not bothered by it

Dear Val I have had these experiences too. When I was tiny my grandmothers would visit me at bedtime - a feeling of happiness when they would make me giggle. On my seventeenth birthday, my grandfather died, and the next night he came and rested his hands on my shoulders to tell me he was feeling so much better!! When I was twentyfour my other gran died and later on that summer I was taking some exams. That morning I was asleep in bed and I felt her sit on my bed and she stroked my forehead and hair just like she used to when I was sick or upset. My mother has always been very relaxed about seeing, hearing and smelling things so I suppose I had no need to fear or block it out. Let him tell you as much as he wants - perhaps along the lines of 'somebody came to see you, oh that was nice of them'. If it wasn't he will probably say so and why. The most important thing is that he will take most of his cue from you and if your automatic response is an unworried one it will probably reassure him so much more than even saying that you are only in the next bedroom if he ever needs you. Hiya Val, There is a possibility that your son is quite psychic, which could be developed as time marches on. If you or him are at all a little worried,then talk to the `spirit`and tell him/her it`s time for bed, and should not wake the little boy, your son,. End the conversation with `Bless You` If you have a digital camera, try taking a few shots around the bedroom, you might find you have what is known as `Orbs`,circular discs,,,`spirits`. I have them at my home, but not worried at all. If you`re in doubt about all this, a visit to your local spiritulist church should be able to help you. Baz xx

Thanks for your advice, on the 6th he went to bed but ended up in his brothers bed about 3am but last night his big brother just put him in his bed and he slept all night and a friendon the bus said Damien is very quite not like him at all. Children are very 'sensitive' when it comes to things like this! My niece has been talking about someone called Pip! He comes to play with her alot! When her mum asked where Pip lived she kept pointing over to the churchyard! When she was asked what he looks like she describes what I can only take to be a street urchin! Her mum decided to take a look in the churchyard and phoned me up in a panic.... There was a small gravestone covered in weeds and when she had a closer look there was the name Pip and the date 1883 age 6yrs!!! Spooky!!! Bev x
