Normally have a slimming shake for lunch, but was out of milk this morning, so had to make up some rather uninspiring pate sarnies.

Just come back from town so pigging out on a Waitrose tuna & sweetcorn sandwich. Good thing is, it fills me up so much I won't want much for tea!

I've been on a Clait course this morning trying to fathom Excell. Told my son he could come home for lunch, for a change. On the way got some lovely rolls from the Co-Op had one with some nice ham and apple sauce. Followed by a lovely piece of carrot cake from the bakers.

Dont think I would have it on its own in a sarnie! But added with other stuff is really very very nice. Maggie

Maragaret, I have had the tesco's finest couscous, and it is nice.. I'm still not convinced about the idea it sticking it in a sarnie tho ! I guess, as they say, don't knock it till you've tried it Paul

as much as I like couscous (and I do like it), I don't think I'd fancy it in a sandwich

2 slices extra thick bread, with mayo, ham, mixed lettice leaves, cucumber, tomato, and cous cous. Plus large mug of coffee. Then back to painting the kids bedroom. Its an ongoing task, like a month at least. (sob) Maggie

Ooooooh fancy having a neighbour who brings you chocolate fudge cake mmmmm! Cold chicken (Red Thai-style, whatever that is!) with a bread roll, then a Caramel KitKat (those Editions ones). And Pepsi Max. Mandy :)
