Weather update from the south (ish). Milton Keynes, hot (32 degrees), very humid. No sign of a storm as yet. Hope it's cooler tonight than last night, was awake on and off through the night.

We're kind sharing people up North Becx - wouldn't like you to miss out.....LOL Jxx

Still blistering hot in Warwickshire. We went to Packwood House (National Trust) this afternoon the house was nice and cool but it was very hot in the gardens. Still no sign of storms but a short one would be welcome to break the atmosphere which is very sultry. Gwynne

Beeyoootiful Sunny Day here in Gosport. Just got back from the beach where I have been spending quailty time with Youngest Son and his wee boy. Oh, and ogling the topless totty of course. It's a man thing.

Rain,Thunder and Lightining here in West Yorkshire.I have been stood out in the rain hopefully to cool down as it is so humid here. Bec Will keep rain and thunder up here,just enjoy the sun today as London and the South is supposed to be getting the rain tomorrow for the start of Wimbledon. Sue Just had lightening striking the top of chimney.(metal grid)came down chimney and a flash and crack on the gas fire front,frightened me so much I turned computer off and took the cats into the kitchen and kept out of the way. Glad we have had our share of the storm. Sue

Thanks sue of Otley...I've got day off tommorow to take the Bike in for a service. How nice driving in the rain on a motorbike. Nevermind at least I'm not working and having to drive to work in it. ;0).

Suzieuki Sorry but doesn't it always rain the first day of Wimbledon.Just looked at the weather forecast and i think the forecasters have changed their minds for rain down south for tomorrow,we all know that forecasters get it wrong sometimes.LOL Sue

Oh I do hope so sue. I'm looking up the forecast now... BBC says sunny in london till at least thurs, Mon- 26 degC 58 humidity Tues- 26 ' 46 ' wed- 27 ' 43 ' Thurs- 29 ' 39 ' Sunny days! Sue

Yes, we in Cheshire got the storm, and how!! Much fresher now...good. Our son and wife were in Las Vegas this last week and temps hit 103F! But not humid. They've e-mailed me a photo of The Valley of Fire - blimey, it looks HOT there! Lily
