Thank you all so much for your kind wishes, much appreciated. Just very disappointed that nobody has said 'my goodness Mandy, you don't look old enough to have been married that long' LOL! Bendy - you are absolutely right, but something's gone wrong because I didn't get any chocs, expensive or otherwise :( Having a Chinese takeaway and a bottle of vino tonight ... but picking up my little Alfie on Sunday (did I happen to mention that I'm getting a puppy? pmsl). Sorry Mandy, almost missed it. Many congratualtions to you and Marston, I hope that you have had a lovely day. a significant date for you and a significant date for us. I met and started going with Tony on 23 June 1956 (49 years!!). It is our 45th wedding anniversary in August. can't wish you any more than that you will be as happy together for as long as we have. Bob, I don't know - how old are you lol???? I got married very young! Chrissie, lol, I did have a new front door key only the other day. Where I'm short and have to reach up a bit to put the key in the lock, it had started bending! Ann, what a coincidence! I'm ashamed to say I can't remember the actual date of our first meeting or date (well it was end of Feb sometime because it wasn't far off my 18th birthday). Have had very nice takeaway and .. hic ... few glasses of wine ... hic (taken me ages to type this reply hic). Mandy :) |
