Sue Lambrini Smith Report 22 Jun 2005 23:03

thanks to everyone who has sent messages and e mails of support today. it was so nice, and helped enormously. sue. x the specialist has seen harry [5pm yesterday] in the hospital, and is in agreement with us , that he cannot go home to live alone. when his treatment is sorted, they have found a 'halfway house' for him, to fully assess his needs. then [fingers crossed] a suitable home can be found for him. we feel as though a big weight has been lifted ! harry even admitted to us the other day that he does not want to go back to his bungalow, because he will be lonely ! so hopefully the transition will be easier than we thought it would. sue [feeling brighter than she has for the last few awfull days !]

Sue, just to let you know that I have been thinking of both you and Alan today. Give him a big cuddle from me, and tell him it is from the Tall Geordie Lass, who has a West Midlands accent. I am sure he will know who it is from. Will never forget him saying that. I will phone you tomorrow, as promised. Love Jenny. xxxx Just keep on looking forward. We have that Sauna and Steam room to look forward to.

Hi Sue, so very sorry to hear you and Alan are having such a bad time of it. Hope you get the old boy settled in hospital soon, I expect he's feeling the loss in his own way poor chap. A vino might do the trick later, you'll be needing it I expect. Good wishes Jan
