My grandson had a party for his 4th birthday in a hall and obviously some of the Mums and Dads stayed. One Dad turned up in a t-shirt saying FCUK Like A Bunny. I spent the whole time trying not to get him in the photos. What do you think? Linda

I can't bear those fcuk ones either - they all seem to be bought by people who think they are screamingly funny.

Pat - I know what you mean - they walk round so smug as if they've invented humour.

It stands for, French Connetion UK, but i do agree it is not very tasteful for a designer label that is expensive i might add. Shirley Ann.

My son wears them, but inspect what s on them, also Ted Baker, and such like. He is 12, I let him, so what does that make me look out to be? I think he looks good in them and I remimd everyone it stands for 'French Connection UK' as on any web site .uk! The rest you could have found on any t-shirt going back to the early 60's. Sorry to get on my hight horse, but some of the stuff worn in the 60's, 70's were far worse! Kim

Hi Kim, My problem was not with the t-shirt particularly but with the fact that it was worn at a 4 year olds birthday party. There's a time and place for everything and I didn't think that was the time OR the place. Mind you I did see a girl of about 10 the other day wearing one saying 'If you think I'm a Bitch you should meet my Mother' What Mum in her right mind would let her child wear that???? Linda

Have to say I agree with you - I'm not keen on the FCUK 'play on words', and particularly distasteful at a child's party. Mandy (who tries hard not to be an old misery lol)

That's appalling taste at a children's party. I think any guest who wears clothing with expletives (even disguised ones) on it is not only displaying bad taste, but also contempt for their host and fellow guests. I think I'd have asked that man to leave and come back suitably dressed. CB >|<

Nope, bad taste, especially at a four year olds party. Children of that age are interested in what they see around them and DO look at writing/lettering as they are, of course, just starting out with reading... My niece is 7 and likes to dress like a 16 year old..I hate it.Am taking her out to a family 'do' soon.can i buy her a pretty dress? can i heck!!

I feel a bit bad really as in the 60s i did wear t shirts that were a bit naughty. I remember one my ex wore also when we youngsters, it said, Me not daft ,me not silly , me wear condomn on my willie. Sorry but can't help but smile, though My dad never. Shirley Ann.

Linda, That's what I was gettiing at at. In the late 60' s early, to mid, 70's t-shirts were worse. I remember my cousin, with children really young, forever wearing a t-shirt that said 'I choked Linda Lovelace' and that sort was the norm then, he wore it to kids parties and anywhere. Am I showing my age now! ;-)) Kim Updated, and did I blush then!
